Summer 2024 | Camp F.L.O. – New Orleans
Durning the spring of 2024 Camp F.L.O offered middle school boys in grades 5–8 an unforgettable expereince filled with learning, growth, and transformation. Designed for youth who’ve struggled with conflict or behavioral challenges, the camp created a safe, supportive space for self-discovery and change. Through a powerful combination of outdoor adventures and classroom learning, campers explored nature, developed emotional regulation skills, practiced conflict resolution, and strengthened their literacy and reading comprehension—all while building trust and teamwork.
Rooted in the belief that young people learn best through action and experience, Camp F.L.O.'s programming reflects a commitment to making New Orleans a safer, more peaceful city. From kayaking to group reading circles, every activity was intentionally crafted to empower youth with the tools they need to make better decisions, become leaders, and thrive inside and outside the classroom as they develop into the FUTURE LEADERS of NEW ORLEANS.
